José Risso Florio

José Risso Florio; born in Maldonado, Uruguay 1970.

He started out in photography with Roberto Riverti and Panta Astiazarán, and perfected his laboratory technique in black and white with Carlos Porro. He studied drawing in Jones-Vicente Plastic Arts Workshop and attended the history of art courses by Prof. Miguel Ángel Battegazzore.

He collaborated iconographically in the books “Al Este de la Historia” [To the East of History] by Diego Fischer and Silvia Pizzani (Trilce, 1998) and “J. Torres García, la Trama y los Símbolos” by Miguel Ángel Battegazzore (I. M. Maldonado, 1999).
